The Rulebook

Server Rules

Every rule has a code — staff reference these codes in reports and decisions. Ignorance of a rule is not a defense; this page is always current.

Community Rules

C-1

Respect out of character

#

Harassment, hate speech, slurs, or targeted abuse toward any player or staff member out of character results in removal from the community. In-character conflict never justifies out-of-character hostility.

C-2

Discord membership required

#

All whitelisted players must remain members of the community Discord. Announcements, restarts, and rule updates are posted there first.

C-3

One account per player

#

Duplicate accounts, shared accounts, and ban evasion are prohibited and detected. If you have an account issue, open a support ticket instead.

Roleplay Rules

RP-1

Stay in character

#

Breaking character in an active scene is prohibited. If a rule is being broken, finish the scene where safe to do so and report it with clip evidence afterward.

Example
Typing "that was RDM" in the middle of a scene instead of reporting it after — not here.
RP-2

New Life Rule (NLR)

#

If your character is downed and respawns at the hospital, they forget the events leading to their death and may not return to the scene or act on that knowledge for 30 minutes.

RP-3

No metagaming

#

Using information your character did not learn in the city — stream snipes, Discord calls, out-of-game messages — to influence roleplay is metagaming and treated severely.

Example
Your friend tells you on Discord where he is being held hostage. Your character does not know that.
RP-4

No powergaming

#

Forcing outcomes on other players without giving them a realistic chance to respond, abusing mechanics to gain an unfair advantage, or roleplaying abilities your character cannot have.

RP-5

Value your life

#

Your character fears injury and death. Ignoring a weapon pointed at you, taunting armed robbers, or treating death as a respawn timer is Fail RP.

Combat & Conflict

CB-1

No random deathmatch (RDM)

#

Attacking another player without meaningful, escalated roleplay interaction is RDM. Initiation must be clear and give the other party a chance to comply.

CB-2

No vehicle deathmatch (VDM)

#

Using a vehicle as a weapon without escalated roleplay is VDM. Accidental collisions should be roleplayed as accidents.

CB-3

No combat logging

#

Disconnecting during an active scene — arrest, robbery, medical RP, or firefight — is combat logging. If you crash, rejoin and return to the scene.

Criminal & Gang Rules

CR-1

Criminal activity caps

#

Group sizes for criminal activities are capped per current server guidelines posted in Discord. Exceeding caps voids the scene and draws penalties.

CR-2

Hostage standards

#

Hostages must be treated as leverage inside a story, not props. Friendly or staged hostages are prohibited.

CR-3

Gang recognition

#

Organizations gain official recognition through consistent roleplay quality and leadership contact with staff. Recognized gangs receive territory and progression opportunities.

Department Rules

D-1

Chain of command

#

Department members follow their department SOPs and chain of command in character. Internal disputes are handled through department leadership, not public channels.

D-2

Corruption requires approval

#

Corrupt LEO/EMS storylines require prior approval from department leadership and staff to protect server balance.

Exploiting & Technical

T-1

Zero tolerance for cheating

#

Mod menus, exploits, crosshairs, macros, or abusing bugs for gain result in a permanent ban. Discovered exploits must be reported.

T-2

Recording disputes

#

Staff may request clips during report review. Clipping software is strongly recommended for all players.
